Can anyone help identify this berry plant? I bought it for 3 dollars at a rummage sale with the tag "Berry Bush". It has teeny, prickly thorns. I tried to get a close up of the leaves but it was dark so they're not as great as they could be. Let me know what you think :)
My vote is blackberries! (Thanks to a little Google image search.) Liz - you're totally inspiring me to try gardening next summer!
ReplyDeleteThey are either blackberries or raspberries. Blackberries will need to climb something. I put mine along a fence and I use plastic coated garden wire to attach the canes to the fence. Raspberries also benefit from some support.
